Our goal it to help you relax, have fun and capture some naturally beautiful photos. We might pose you a little bit, but we really love to catch those little genuine moments that last a lifetime.
Generally, we are Natural Light photographers preferring to shoot in the great outdoors wherever our clients or travels might take us. We also shoot indoors using the natural light from windows for a truely natural look.
We have also been known to set up a portrait studio in our basement where we use flash and create a more traditional portrait experience.
We have also been known to flash you at events where the light requires some extra umph... No, not like that ;)
What to Expect...
01.
First Contact
If you love our work, complete the form on our contact page, and we will respond as soon as possible via email or a phone call. We will set up a quick chat or a coffee date to meet, discuss the basics and make a plan.
02.
Contracts
Once we have made a plan, its time to put things in writing. We will send you a contract that details your price and outlines the plan we discussed in our meeting.
03.
Picture time
The big day! We’ll start with getting to know each other a bit better. In the meantime, we will be preparing the equipment and refining our location so we can jump right into it. Then, we'll jump right into it! It may be a bit awkward at first, but I'm told that's normal ;)
04.
Delivering photos
In one or two weeks, you will receive an email link to your edited pictures, to see yourself in all your natural glory.
Your gallery will have options to download high quality digital images as well as access to our store for easy printing of your favorite moments.
FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
The first 20 minutes of your shoot is going to feel a bit awkward. This is normal! We are going to do our best to help you feel comfortable and confident as quickly as possible.
What should I wear?
Light colors with little to no pattern works best. Avoid pinstripes at all costs, lol. Consider comfort in your choices as well as any insecurities you might have. Feel free to bring options if you are unsure.
How many pictures will I receive?
How many pictures will depend on how long your session is and how many are agreed upon in your contract.
Are you available outside of BC?
Yes! We love to travel and would love to hear where you want us to go!
Expenses to be determined as needed as it really depends on what you have in mind. That being said, expenses usually involve a hotel stay for one or two nights and travel to get there - be it flights or gas mileage.
Do you do couples photography?
Absolutely! ;)
